What a JUNGLE....

Dear Parents,

These past two weeks our focus was about knowing more on Jungles and Jungle Animals. Kids were all excited and all wanted to know more about snakes, lions, elephants, monkeys, tigers… They have been inquiring day in and day out and they were all eager to learn. That was very impressive!

We looked at what jungles look like in eyewitness books and at what could be found there. Some kids were astonished to find out that there were poisonous frogs. Indeed, one should never touch their skin!

We also watched documentaries broadcast by National geographic Tv channel. Please if you do have time during the weekend, have your child watch some more. They enjoyed it! And it will great for them to return to school with new things to share to the class on the topic.

We looked at the world map and search for South America ( Some thought it was Africa by its shape! So clever those kids!) We had a look at the Amazon’ rainforests.
This week we reached the end of of our ‘Jungles’ unit and please find below the final project of Pre-K 4 class.

On Friday, we went to the Zoo National and it has been a rewarding experience! I am sure your child had plenty to share with you.

We will then continue our adventure and learn more about Deserts this time! Cannot wait!
